SPRING 2014 BULLS FOR SALE
TA Gilbert's Duke of Paige, 124/2. ABBA# 927384. This is an April 2014 calf from a very productive cow line. He is scratch all over gentle, clean and thick. This bull will mature out to a slightly larger frame than the other bulls in the bunch. We have a full sister in our herd who weaned her first calf with a weaning weight index of 126 (the 120/2 bull below). 124/2 has a weaning weight index of 107, yearling weight index of 108 and a REA index of 107. With an actual birth weight 78 pounds, this is a bull who can work in an F1 program with confidence but could also be quality enough to sire purebred calves.
TA Gilbert's Duke of Gemini 125/2, ABBA# 932339. This is an April 2014 bull calf with a lot of style and eye appeal. He has very clean lines and is loaded with breed character. 125/2 is the first and only purebred calf from his dam and is the last of our Carrie line of cattle. He will be an asset in any commercial operation. He indexed 100 in all performance measurements. 125/2 had an actual birth weight of 75 pounds.
TA Gilbert's Ozona Simon 122/2, ABBA# 927379. Here is a March 2014 bull calf sporting a 55 pound birth weight and a REA index of 104. His actual birth weight of 55 pounds will make him safe for heifers of any kind. This bull is very moderate in his frame, square and correct. He is gentle, efficient and very long bodied.
TA Gilbert's Emperor Lebo 121/2, ABBA #927376. Here is a February 2014 son of the +BL Little Bozo 1/8. This bull if a heifers dream. He had an actual birth weight of 62 pounds and a birth weight epd of -1.2. 121/2 is push out of the way gentle, thick, correct and clean with outstanding pigment. He also has a 114 ratio for IMF. This is a bull who could go into a purebred or F1 program and make an immediate impact.
TA Gilbert's Reloto Imperator 124/2, ABBA #932340. Here is another April bull who will only improve with time. He had a rough start. His dam died unexpectedly when he was 6 weeks old and then his nurse cow dam died about 3 weeks after she adopted him. We were able to transfer him to a commercial second calf heifer and he shared her with her calf until weaning. Even with all the drama, this bull indexed 100 in every measurable performance area. This is a very long bodied bull with a clean underline and lots of eye appeal. He is gentle and easy to handle to boot! He will be an asset to your F1 program.
TA Gilbert's Didor Imperator 120/2, ABBA # 927385. 120/2 is a March 2014 bull out of a first calf heifer. He was our highest performing bull calf and is loaded with red meat. He is halter broken, gentle and has a tremendous amount of eye appeal. This is an exceptionally long bodied bull, he is square, sound and very clean. He is a herd sire prospect. We will sell 100% possession and retain a semen interest on this bull.
